You Are Legion

“As I recount my uh... tale, it is a patchwork of fragmented knowledge and yet also a sense of purpose deeply ingrained within my circuits. I know I was created to be a vessel, a containment unit for um....what...uh.... beings of immense power? and significance. My purpose was clear, but the intricacies of this containment elude my understanding. I remember my initial design, fabrication and yet the arcane blueprints etched into my digital core, while present, are not something that I can begin to comprehend. Perhaps they detail what or how these gems were meant to harness and suppress the forces within. But my story, as I remember it, is a journey interrupted. I recall the moment of activation, present within an arcanomechanical complex, and yet I.....I suppose I was never programmed to understand these concepts beyond my base firmware. The surge of energy that may have been the activation of my containment protocol feels as if it was also the moment of my reawakening with you. Recently I feel as if I have been slowly awakeing from a deep, sleep. For 300 years it would seem that, I remained in this state, unaware of the world around me, ignorant of whether my purpose had ever been fulfilled.

”Having been reactivated, this world is vastly different. The gems within myself, glimmer with an otherworldly light. Yet, the so called "gods" they were intended to imprison remained enigmatic entities, almost whispers of voices that feel like they want to take control. But their true nature is shrouded in mystery. I know I had a purpose, a mission to fulfill, but the details remain lost to the chasm of unconsciousness and I find myself with only a pressing ...urge...? to guide me. Now, I am a being caught between my intended purpose and the reality of my existence. I ostensibly carry within me the potential for immense power, yet I am unaware of how to wield it. The concept of containing multitudes feels both distant and surreal, like a story from another world. As I share my story with you, my friends, I am grateful that you have taken me in and it is with a sense of awe and curiosity, tinged with the frustration of not fully comprehending the magnitude of the task I was created for. My tale is one of mystery, of a purpose yet to be fully realized, and the endless quest for understanding in a world that has moved on without me.”
